Power logic

Putin and Trump are replacing generally accepted rules with power logic, a form of unilateralist thinking and action (Civility Theory 2025, p. 13 ff.). According to this logic, powerful people divide the world among themselves and make authoritarian decisions about what happens and how the world should be viewed in their own areas of interest.
