Civil navigation
Responsible actors navigate. To do this, they attempt to orient themselves within a changing and often complex reality to the best of their knowledge and conscience, and to assess the potential consequences of different behavioral options as accurately as possible – followed by appropriate (self-)regulation. When this occurs consciously with regard to interaction logics, forms of interaction, and levels of civility (civil-theoretical variable space), one can speak of civility navigation.
The concept has evolved rapidly in recent weeks - see the attached dialogue texts.
